Mark

'Hello Dolly' is easily in my top ten Matt tracks, I have often waxed lyrical about this most wonderful of recordings.

Talk about taking a song and making it your own.

I've been way down in the basement of this topic to bring Mark back to the top spot for his performance at Littlecote House in Hungerford last night.
Peter and I were lucky enough to be in the audience, and once again we enjoyed a top notch polished show with the talented Kings Of Swing Band.
With just Mark and Tony Benedict singing this time, and Lynne Kennedy, there were obviously not as many songs as when Paul was with them at the Beck, but many of the great songs were still included and sung with style in the usual relaxed and entertaining manner. :D
Lena and Harry, Artificial Flowers is still there, as well as many other favourites including Fly Me To The Moon, I Left My Heart in San Francisco, Come Fly With Me, Kick in the Head, Chicago, Lazy River, Mack the Knife, Nice n' Easy, That's Life etc. etc. A really great variety show perfectly presented.
Thanks guys. Immaculately turned out as always.
We are already looking forward to seeing the whole show again, including Paul Pashley, at The Beck Theatre Hayes in October this year.

Marian and Peter :D :D :D

Glad you and Peter enjoyed the show Marian. Some of the so called talent aound today should go and see this show and learn something from it.
All the greatest songs again given professional treatment.
Sounds like it's the Beck Theatre again then in November. :) :x

Wish they were coming our way Marian.
But can't find anything on the internet for any forthcoming dates for them.
Have you a listing at all? :(

Hope that means that you will also be appearing at the revamped Gainsborough Sands Venue when it reopens in 2012 Mark :)
