IL VOLO

Post by hpooch » Mon Mar 12, 2012 4:35 am

I know I entered this trio before, but the 3 Italian 18 year old tenors have a new CD & DVD release that is a
live concert from the Detroit Opera House performed last year titled "Il Volo - Take Flight". It is great!
I already purchased the Blu-Ray DVD from Amazon.com and their voices are fantastic!
ALSO--Your local PBS TV station is showing it for the next two weeks between 7PM & 11PM, so please view it if posible...
Hopefully you get PBS-TV shows in England, as we get "Masterpiece Theatre" & others on our PBS-TV over here.

Henry, cool! Our local PBS station hasn't aired anything by IL Volo yet, not even Celtic Thunder! I guess I'll have to shop around for the DVD. I have the Live From The Detroit Opera House cd though, and I love it!

Henry, I just wondered if you have heard of opera singer Cristina Fontanelli, a beautiful and worldwide talented lady. We get regular e-mails from her and one has just arrived to tell us that she is co-host on the IL Volo show tonight with Jim Masters. She said that she sang an impromptu Sole Mio with them in the studio which was great fun. These Three young men are so talented and we will be purchasing their CD and dvd.
I have just been watching previews on You-tube.

Lena and Harry, I liked IL VOLO a lot that I bought both the regular cd and then the same one that was all in Spanish. The young lads can really sing and are fabulous!!

They certainly are very talented Eman. We have seen them on our TV here, and we do love Tenors music and have a fair collection of different singers. Many from the past :)
