Today, the 12th June the wonderful singer Vic Damone celebrates his 80th Birthday.
Vic has ranked up there with the best of the Italian American crooners for over Fifty years.
We wish him the happiest of Birthdays and may he celebrate many more. :lol: :lol:

wow 80 years young!! ive seen vic many times on his visits here during the 80s and 90s, he has always been in my top four of matt , vic, jack jones and tony B.

hope everyone is ok, ive been on and off ships the last few months in the canaries and then iceland/ Norway the last couple of weeks. i cant get into the website is it down?? i only got to the forum via an old link!!!

I have also been having problems gaining access to the site via the Singers Singer :roll: I have been going through the Matt Monro News - a seperate link.

I'd forgotten this, but some time ago I had a problem accessing the forum link if I went to the website via Internet Explorer.
I could access all the rest of the website but not the forum.
This is the same today. When I click the 'members lounge' link it keeps trying to install Microsoft Office 2000 and a message reads " This website wants to run the following add-on 'Office Data Provider for WBEM,' but it is then unable to do so.
I got around this problem by installing Mozilla Firefox which I now use with no problem in accessing the forum.
This doesn't sound to be the same problem as Mark and Robert are having though, as it is the actual website they seem to be having problems accessing.

There are 2 new clips on Youtube of Vic singing "Speak Low" and "September Song" from 1999. Still in great voice at 70 (the age he was then).
