That's great, but I'm going to be away most of September. Does anyone know what date they're planning to show it so I can set my video?

We thought the video "Is this The Way To Amarillo" was excellent.
Have a collection of Tony Christies LPs from back in the Sixties and early Seventies.
We've heard several versions of the song "So Deep Is The Night" but we think that Tony's recording on "With Loving Feeling" LP, takes some beating.

We have been fans of Al Martino since he recorded the song " Here In My Heart" in 1952 which become the first No 1 hit to be entered into the Guiness Book Of Records, and have loved Matt's incredible voice equally as much, and we were so thrilled to see Matt singing the song "In The Arms Of Love" on Matt's video.
Al sang that song but it has only ever been recorded on just one of his many albums.
" This Love For You"
We are pleased to be involved with the web-site GMMY which is already
linked up here.

Terence Lee

My other favourite singers

Apart from Matt Monro, I really like Jack Jones. Not so much his early recordings on Kapp though. I thought there was more character to his voice as he aged. I especially like his RCA albums and it is sad they are not available on cd.

As for female singers, I am rather fond of Shirley Bassey, Liza Minnelli, Dorothy Squires and Vikki Carr.

I would love to hear Matt and Shirley duet. Michele, did your dad ever sing with Shirley? If it is a live performance, perhaps EMI could release it like One Voice?

Hi In reply to Terence---Jack Jones is one of my other favourite singers too. I have a few old RCA LP's---eg "Harbour" that I could copy to cd. Contact me at mbdoyle4@aol.com.. Marian

I really love Matt Monro, but I have some other favourite singers too--for example Bobby Darin, Mel Torme, Jack Jones, Johnny Mathis.Neil Sedaka. They all have their own distintive voice and style, and you can always recognise them instantly. Marian
