Has anyone seen or heard of the new Barry Gibb concerts--my friends, Maria & Sue went just a couple of nights ago at the MENA in Manchester--they are lucky, and have their own box there. Apparently, there was a huge screen on stage with his 2 brothers, and he sang all their old hits---Maria said it was just wonderful--one of the best concerts ever---and she has been to many, many concerts !

I have also been to many concerts but The Bee Gees was one of the best and I always wanted to see them again.

I'm glad Barry has got it together again.

I remember I flew to L.A. to see their concert during their heyday in 1979 and they were joined by brother Andy for a few numbers. That was awesome and I'm glad I got to see the show even though they were already getting the "disco backlash". It must be surreal for Barry to be singing up their by himself with just a video of his brothers.

Apparently he was also joined by his son and daughter of Maurice.

oh wow Mariana i bet that was amazing. I was fifteen when saturday night Fever came out...i was mezmerised by the who lot and i adore the sound track even now.....i love Grease but for me saturday Night Fever ws and is one of my fave films ever......Biggest selling movie sound track ever as far as i know. 8) ....

I was really glad to know that Barry was still continuing to perform, even without his brothers-I did see a couple of clips on Youtube.

Must be bitter sweet for him...I'd be in tears if I'd been there....a great catalogue of songs.... 8)
