You may want to get your sister Jill the new "Jackie - Pin Ups" cd for Christmas. It's chockfull of 70's teen idol tunes. Oh I kept playing "Hold Me Close" by David Essex until my Dad threatened to pull the plug out of the stereo if I didn't play something else. Ha ha..

Eman i love Hold Me Close ...saw david last year at our local theatre and he was great ...before he sang Only a winters Tale he cracked me up laughing as he said ..."when i hear this in the local supermarket i put my hat and dark glasses on " !

Just to mention ..coming home in car today and radio 2 played Daydreamer by mr Cassidy ...well I was singing long and Sir Terry wogan DJ said ...aahh being carried away there ...are lots of ....Middle aged women". And he laughed. well I did too ..eventually ..hubby thought it funny

I have a friend who has followed David since he started singing-I do not know how many concerts she went to, but it was a LOT-- he seemed to do a new tour every year !!!

David Cassidy was my second concert. My uncle who was 17 at the time took me to see him. My first concert was The Monkees when we lived in Japan.
