It has just been anounced that the singer Lynsey De Paul who some of you may have met at the EMI CD/Book launch a couple of years ago has unfortunately died of a Brain Hemorage.

Poor Lyndsey ..Part of my childhood memories ...bless her ....the only comfort that no dragged out suffering ...may she rest in peace ....

Yes Richard, we remember Lyndsey De Paul at the meet-up Book launch and so sad to hear this news.
She had hardly changed one bit, and still very attractive. Her song "No Honestly " is the one that I associate her with mostly.

I just read about Lynsey's funeral online, good to see so many famous faces there including John Alderton and his wife Pauline Collins & Tom Conti - also Bruce Welch, Suzi Quatro and MIke Batt to name a few.

Aww bless her ...she seems to have been muched loved...I remember she sang the theme tune for John Aldertons and his wife's comedy show No Honestly ....she wrote it too no doubt ....I just remember her when I was a child always on the radio and Top Of The Pops ...happy days .....

We are all on organ donors list ..in this house ....amazing to think how Lynsey has helped save lives. ...I hope this is of some comfort for her loved ones.
