Why on earth she felt the need to record Goldfinger again is beyond me as it's on just about every compilation.

My dear Uncle Lee loved Shirley ;0) ...she has an amazing voice and I loved her appearance on Morcombe and Wise :lol: ...great sport ...

I loved Donna Summer version of Mcarthur Park .... 8)

I love the Donna Summer version of MacArthur Park. I have the single version, but also the extended version (over 17 minutes).

But I also love Richard Harris's hit single with that exciting instrumental part, as well as Buddy Greco's.

She felt a couple of notes were always wrong in the original recording, so she is putting them right. John Barry would be thrilled.

Shirley is such a perfectionist it's a wonder she didn't rectify that at the time. It's taken her years to do that and she's a lot older now so I suppose it's good she can do it better than before?
