Hi Lena and Harry,

I think that Tony will be VERY busy this week.
He is on "Countdown" all this week.
Let's hope the new CD will do VERY well for him!

HI Hilary-yes I had noticed that Tony was on "Countdown" this week--for the first time I believe-although I think they are recorded in advance.

As a coincidence my new cd of Tony arrived this morning--had no chance to listen to it yet, but some nice songs on there

Hi Lena, Harry and Marian 1 and Marian 2,

There are some REALLY nice songs on the new CD.
We haven't had a chance yet to listen too any of them but will do so before the day is out! Nice to see that Tony has recorded a good selection of love songs.

The whole CD is dedicated to his wife Sue.
He wanted to say thanks to her for putting up with him for 40 years!!!
No seriously this is his way of showing her how much he loves her!

Hi Everyone,

We listened to Tony's new CD last night.
All I can say is WOW! This new laid back style suits Tony so much.
It is so different from his musical style of the 1970's.

"Simply in love" has a jazzy feel to it and quite a few of the songs have been given a new lease of life.
Our favourites are, "We've only just begun, Moon river, stranger in paradise" and "god only knows."

Tony starts this UK tour tonight. He is playing a charity gig at The Royal Oak in Maidenhead. The pub is owned by Michael Parkinson, [I wonder if Michael will be pulling the pints tonight!] I believe that all of the tickets have now been sold for the show.

Let's hope the CD and tour go well for Tony and his band! :)
It's good to see him doing so well again and of course, he is a BIG Matt fan too! 8)

Hi Hilary, and all. There are some nice numbers on Tony's Cd.
The Song "Danny Boy is getting" an airing. It's on Cliff's Duet CD too. :)
Must get to HMV this week. It's getting ourselves out of there that's the problem.

Hi Everyone,

In the new issue of HMV Choice for Nov/December there is a really good review of Tony's new CD. Also, there is an interview with the great man as well.

In the January issue of In Tune International, Clive Fuller will review "Simply in Love" as well. Apparently he LIKES it very much!
