Hey Richard, what are your thoughts on Matt Goss from Bros swing albums if you heard them. I'm hearing favourable reviews but honestly I haven't heard them myself.

I haven't i'm afraid Eman. I have heard his new version of When Will I Be Famous which was OK but nothing to write home about.

Looking at the list of tracks on Robbies so-called new "Swing Album"---it does not feature the style of songs as the original swing album-which I loved--in fact, I did not recognise the names of at least half of the tracks. So far, I have not succumbed to buying it-I may just download a few tracks, that I think i will like.

Has Robbie (a big fan of Matts) ever recorded a Matt song :?:
"My Tears Will Fall Now That You're Gone,
I Can't Help But Cry, But I Must Go On" :(

Not as far as I know, but he probably doesn't want to be compared to the master!

His stage manners ( remembering one of his TV shows ) would hardly compare to the master either.
A great shame, because we liked his "Swing When Your Winning" CD, :D

Great quote on the BBC online page from Robbie about securing the 1000th UK No 1 with the album.Could almost be Matt talking...
(sorry unable to quote link.Step-up,RobertM)

Interesting (later) Matt connection with the Sinatra album that started it all...

I'm like you Maxine I like the Albert Hall but hate huge arenas. I must prefer the intimacy of a theatre or concert hallL.

In saw Frank Sinatra and Cliff Richard at the Albert Hall but not on the same night!!!!

I love the Royal Albert Hall, and have seen loads of concerts there--but bit helps if you are sitting in the front row !!

As for preferring small theaters to Arenas--sometimes there is no choice--if your favourite is playing in an Arena, then to see that person, you have to go to the Arena. I have been lucky with most Arena concerts, and had great seats via the Fanclub--I would not like to be sitting way, way back. !!

The seats I had for Frank Sinatra were fantastic and bought through his Appreciation Society, could not have had better if I'd gone to the box office.

We were so close we really did see those blue eyes, it was an unforgettable evening.
