Hi Robert

I love Mr Lonely and of course Mr Vinton's rendition of Blue Velvet.
Mr Lonely is such a sad, sad song.

Thanks for the links.

Thanks for the Neil video, Robert--I have heard him sing that many times in concert--he only has to play the first couple of notes for everyone to recognise it. Neil has written many great songs--that is one of his most popular.

Lovely clip of Jack--But for some reason, whenever I go to Youtube the tape keeps stopping for about 5 seconds then starts for 5 seconds etc, which is quite distracting.

Does anyone have a remedy ??

It plays straight through on my computer Marian, although I have known that problem in the past. Is it something to do with 'buffering'? :? :?

Yes it is the buffering. If you let it complete the buffering first, ie the red line has to go right across, then the video will play straight through, without stopping :)

Two from Pat Boone, one slow one and one more uptempo, which I remember being played over the seaside tannoy when I was a lad :)

Here are 2 new videos of Ed Ames, taken just a few weeks ago at the age of 81. The sound quality of the video isn't perfect, but he is still in fine voice.
