Hi Leeroy,

I'm so glad that you like the double CD.
Yes, there are some lovely songs on it.
Very good value for money too at only £5.99! :D

Yes Leeroy Tony does have a new CD out in September.
From what I have heard it contains some original material and a few cover versions as well.

Tony has recorded a version of "The hungry years."
This is one of Tony's favourite Neil Sedaka songs and also, his fans wanted him to record it as well!

Once again I'm glad that you are enjoying "Movies, Love and Hit Songs"

Hi Marian,

I do hope that you enjoy the CD's.
On the second one there is a lovely song written by Tony and a song writing buddy called, "closer to heaven." It's a REALLY nice love song.

Hello all. After the World Cup Final had finished tonight Tony Christie's "Is This The Way To Amarillo" was played to the crowd.

Also after Germany had been defeated by eventual winners Italy in their semi final, the Liverpool anthem "You'll Never Walk Alone" by Gerry and The Pacemaker's was also played to the crowd. Both sounded excellent.
"My Tears Will Fall Now That You're Gone,
I Can't Help But Cry, But I Must Go On" :(

Hi Everyone,

Just to let you know that Neil Sedaka's DVD "Live at the Royal Albert Hall" will be available to buy on Monday 4th September.
Tony Christie joined Neil on stage that night and they performed "Amarillo" together.

We were very lucky to have been in the audience on that night.
The whole show was brilliant from start to finish but the audience were on their feet when Tony came on for his duet with Neil! :D

Hi Hilary--thanks for the information re "The Neil Sedaka DVD"--I have been lokking out for that. I would have loved to have been there at that concert---I have been to quite a few in the past, but it is more difficult now for me to go to London. Plus the Fan Club folded up some time ago, so I did not know about the cocerts for some time.

Hi Lena and Harry--it looks very much as though that one at Play.com is a reissue of the concert from Birmingham Symphony Hall---a few years back. A really great concert, though !!

Hi Marian, well at least the price is right and all his popular numbers are there. But for the latest one due in September, at the moment Amazon is slightly less than HMV.

Hi Lena and Harry---for that price it is exceptional value, because as I said before it is a super concert--I often play it and sing along to it.

I just cannot wait for the new one!! My poor dogs are in for some more torture [ that is--me singing   ]
