I had a sneak listen to her album in the jazz section of HMV Oxford Street the other day. She has a pleasant enough voice but nothing exceptional; I thought her version of "How Can I Be Sure" (the old David Cassidy song) was subdued and it didn't really impress - in any case, Johnny Mathis's is the best version of that song, by a mile.

Hi Jon-have you checked out the new Johnny Mathis information in the "Johnny Mathis " thread--new cd out next month. !!

By the way-I also like Dusty's version of that song "How can I be sure". Monica is not at her best, singing that type of song.
