Yes we were very lucky Terence.
Natalie Cole was on "Breakfast" this morning discussing her new duets album, some of which will be with her father like before, but also other artists like Peggy Lee, Frank Sinatra, and she also mentioned and described him as "a very little known singer, Jack Jones"!
I was wondering if the duet with Jack will be recorded live.
Natalie is still touring, despite having to have renal dialysis three times a week following renal failure following hepatitis last year.

Natalie Cole also duetted with Johnny Mathis on "Unforgettable"---the CD and TV Tribute by Johnny Mathis on Nat King Cole.

This was only ever shown once on TV, and despite repeated requests from JM's fans, it has never been repeated, and apparently has been deleted. I think it would have been very popular as a dvd. Luckily I recorded it on video, at the time, and have now copied it into a dvd.

Great news! for us Jack Jones fans anyway. Jack is to record and release a new album in time for his UK tour in November.
It must be over 10 years since his last. This is to be entitled "I Never Had It So Good". :D :D

I Never Had It So Good was very well sung by Barbra Streisand in her Lazy Afternoon album. I can't wait for Jack to weave his special magic on this beautiful tune.

Tickets for Cheltenham and Belfast ( less than half the price of Dublin!) are now on sale, but only by contacting box office, not yet through their websites.

You are probably right John-I do deserve it---however, the only one I could feasibly get to is the Palladiium on a Sunday night---which makes it almost impossible to catch the last train home at 10.25--so that would mean an overnight stay--which would mean the dogs in kennels from Friday to Monday, possibly TUesday, if I do not get to the Kennels by 12.00---etc, etc, etc. It is just too expensive for me.
