Andy Williams' The Impossible Dream was as high as #126 on yesterday's iTunes chart. Any reason why?

Possibly because it is being featured on a tv advert again Paul, at the moment. :)

Very sorry to hear that Andy is that so ill that the medical profession cannnot do any more for him. Apparently he has left hospital and is with his family at home.

Sorry to hear that too Marian. I saw Andy years ago in concert and he was great.

I just read up on him, I never realised he was so ill, it's very sad.

This is very sad, it has been several months since anyone has heard anything, and he said he hoped to be back in the fall of this year celebrating 75 years in the business. Always a great favourite of mine, he has made some wonderful records. We saw him in 2002 and he was brilliant. Hoping the time he has left is peaceful.

Beautifully said John.

I have a few of Andy's tv shows on dvd, the humour with his guests and the 'Bear' was always funny. I remember one show with Dusty as a guest and they were singing beside a 'bar', when they stopped singing the camera zoomed in on the 'barman' who said about Dusty and Andy "She was nice, but he was weird"! All good, clean fun.
