Maxine Marian and I both saw Alfie Boe in concert earlier this year in our own cities and he was brilliant, and yes I agree he has a good sense of humour. I will certainly buy the concert dvd when it's releases (not long now). Marian there is a tour itinerary inside his new cd and you're right it's all Arenas, he must be a major star now! I really dislike huge arenas and prefer the intimacy of a theatre.

Over the years I have seen Cliff many times in concert and the last time was at the Albert Hall just after Dusty passed away, the trip was all booked but my heart wasn't really in it after losng Dusty as I was a fan since the days of The Springfields.

I have also seen Cliff in the musicals Time and Heathcliffe. Time was at the Dominion in London and it was an amazing show with hydraulics and holograms etc:

Cliff in concert is something else and he works very hard.

Alfie Boe's latest CD has now gone Gold! :D However his tour to America has been cancelled, due to low sales of tickets. Apparently there was no publicity.

That seems very strange Marian as he's been in the States before but whgat are his management thinking about with no publicity, how do they expect people to know?

I suppose the U.S is a big country Karl and maybe he was going to a different part where he isn't known.
I see he's going on a P&O cruise in May, maybe he'll end up on a cruise with Michele!

I know what you're saying but any artist needs publicity.

I tmust be great to be on a cruise and have a famous name appear in their theatres.
