Hi Marian and Gray---I thought that "Dear Heart" was primarilly an Andy Williams number--I had not realised that Jack Jones sang it too.

Are you sure you don't mean "Happy Heart" sung by Andy Williams, Marian. One of his biggest hit songs
"My Tears Will Fall Now That You're Gone,
I Can't Help But Cry, But I Must Go On" :(

Thanks Lena and Harry-I do not feel quite such a dope now---I had this feeling that I could hear Andy Williams singing it--in my head!

Wonderful Jack Jones concert last night to end his tour in England. There is one more venue tomorrow night in Dublin, but this was the final one for Peter and myself anyway.
It was definately the best night of the tour, and Jack was in magnificent voice. Cadogan Hall is beautiful, and the accoustics excellent. Jack was very happy performing there, he came on stage and just said "Wow!" Everything went smoothly and whole evening was just perfect.
Laurie Holloway and Tony Hadleigh were in the audience.
Jack received a standing ovation and seemed quite emotional at the fantastic reception. I'm sure he'll come back to the Cadogan Hall again, and so will we..

Hi Marian [1] So glad it all went well for you last night---I can just imagine it. It is great when it finishes on a high . Hope he is back in another year or 2--I will do my best to get along.

Funnily enough JM's last concert was in Dublin---but it got cancelled--after we had got concert tickets, air tickets, accomodation !!!

Hi Marian-yes it was a blow at the time--especially as there were only 3 others. All the information we were given, was that the Irish Promoter had pulled out, due to unforeseen circumstances.

I think Jack plans to have a holiday over there, or here, because he's not due to fly home until November 10th, according to his concert schedule anyway.
