Alfie sang "Maria" on Alan Titchmarsh show on Wednesday. Fantastic !!!

I don't generally watch Songs Of Praise, but if you missed it on Sunday, you can see it on the iplayer.

I recorded it and watched it this afternoon Lena. Very well worth watching. Alfie comes across as such a nice person as always, and of course, sings beautifully! Can't wait to see his show in December. :D

I am just listening to Alfie's new album "Alfie" that arrived today. I love it! Also love the fact that one of the dedications is to his new baby son Alfie, who hasn't quite made his appearance yet! :D

Alfie debuted at #6 on the UK album chart. That is an excellent position. He should continue to rack up good sales through Christmas. If I get access to the sales, I'll post them.

It is a lovely album-but I was disappointed to find that "Soneone to watch over me" is not the song I have known and loved for so long--but a completely different song, by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
