Thanks Marian. Shouldn't be be too critical I know, It's meant to be funny and Jerry Lewis has millions of fans, but Jack singing this great number so beautifully alone, without this old predictable interrupting skit would please me so much better.

I agree Lena, but it was a long time ago and I'm sure it wouldn't happen now.

That's quite understandable that Jack's daughter found them amusing Marian, and you'll notice I did say... skit. :wink: At the same time, peoples taste and attitude where humour is concerned has changed with time, and although some of the older TV comedies appear really hammy now, most of the humour and stand-up comedians are about as funny as gangrene.

Jack still does the Jerry Lewis Telethon with Jerry every year and always sings several numbers as they should be sung. :D
I don't know how Jerry Lewis is now but a few years back his face was very bloated on the show. Their daughters are great friends and are usually in the audience.

Jack is fronted on the cover of our latest issue of "IN TUNE." A nice write-up and a reminder that he wil be here later in the year. :)

NEW ALBUM of Love Songs due out next week. :D
Jack will put the cover art on his facebook page tomorrow.
Don't know if the new CD will be available here until the tour though.

I'm sure it will Marian, but maybe not until the UK Tour over here. :)
Maybe from the shop on his website from the U.S.
It's actually 'Love Ballads' I don't know if this is the title though.
He also said there's going to be some news about his pal Jerry Lewis.

Good to see the clip with Jerry but I have to agree, leave the great man to sing alone, however it's good to see an artist taking part in a humorous scene.

Tell us more about the new cd Marian when you hear anything.

Still no further news of a new album from Jack. I think he removed the note he put on facebook. :?

Jack has however given some news about his long term friend Jerry Lewis, who has hosted the Jerry Lewis Telethon on TV for many years, but he will not be the host this year. Jack has said in view of this he will not be appearing either, but he hopes people will continue to support the children with Muscular Dystrophy that the telethon is held to raise funds for.
