It's just been announced that 60s' singer Kathy Kirby died yesterday after a short illness. She had lived in obscurity in recent years after a run of success in her heyday, and I particularly remember her for singing the theme tune to the BBC drama programme "Adam Adamant Lives!" starring Gerald Harper. RIP, Kathy.

Yes, I have just read the news as well. Very sad. A great singer, who made some lovely recordings.

Very sad news of Kathy Kirby, a popular singer mainly in the Sixties with Five top Forty hits between 1963 and 65. With her blonde hair and lip gloss she was often compared with the late Marilyn Monroe.
R.I.P. Kathy. !!!
