Nicolai Baskov

Post by hpooch » Wed Aug 17, 2011 5:57 am

Our PBS TV Station has been broadcasting a special of a TV Concert from Russia recorded 2 years ago with Tenor Nicolai Baskov.
I thought this singer was fantastic! He is only 34 tears old, a blond adonis(according to female reviews). He sound like Mario Lanza!
Have any of you seen or heard of him? I couldn't find him on Amazon.com as his one CD or DVD is listed as "Not Available".

I saw him on the PBS special a few months ago. I enjoyed the program, especially the Russian songs and his version of Caruso, which seemed to be his signature piece.
