As I was listening to Steve Lawrence yesterday I thought I would do a ogoogle search on Steve & Eydie.

Eydie has now retired, she is 85 several years older than Steve who is still performing it seems

I finally found this thread, however scrolling down quite a bit with this awful green type plays hell with my eyes!

Karl, if you highlight the letters, it makes them easier to read-I had that problem at one time.

Most biography web sites list Eydie Gorme's date of birth as Aug 16, 1931...which means she was 80 years old last week!
Steve Lawrence's birth date was July 8, 1935 which makes Steve 4 years younger than Eydie. They will be married 54 years this December!
They both still look great for their age! My favorite CD of Eydie is the one she made with Trio Los Panchos title "Amor" ("Sabor a Mi")
"Wikipedia" site lists Eydie's year of birth as 1928, but I discovered that this site is sometimes less reliable than most biography sites.

Wikipedia often make mistakes Henry, but one would think that Eydie would want to make her Birth date known.
What is surprising though is that years ago, there were many people who didn't actually know their correct Birth date.
Harry's step-father and an old family friend of ours all their lives had been celebrating their Birthdays on an entirely different day to what was proved when it was time for them to draw their retirement pensions.
