That;'s a very high price to pay for any cd let alone a Christmas one, it's bound to come down in price!

I just checked Play.com for Michael and it's only £8.99 there, Amazon must have made a mistake.

Alfie Boe's forthcoming cd has a Xmas track at the end and it's only £7.19.

Not sure what is happening with Amazon-they are usually good with prices-but just checked it out in HMV--8.99----more the price I would expect to pay-so I have preordered it.

It is unusuall for Amazon to price above HMV, but once they realise the competition and with play.com, they will soon come down.

The only other Christmas cd I bought of Michael Buble was more like an EP--just 4 maybe 5 tracks on it.

Marian was right in what she wrote earlier.
The Amazon one seems to be the special edition as seen on Michael Bubles website.
3 extra tracks and a free bauble??

I think when I first looked at the limited Special Edition on the Michael Buble website it also included a calendar, but that seems to have been omitted now, but you can buy it separately.
Wonder what the Buble Bauble is like!!

I just pre-ordered. (Just kidding of course  )

Please don't order from amazon and play and all those sites. Only order from HMV please. Let's do everything we can to keep the last British record store chain alive. It could be the final record store chain remaining in the world and we must support them. This is very important to me. Thank you. :)

If we order from HMV they come from Guernsey anyway Paul. These places are so much cheaper than the high street stores and when money is short we have to save when we can. With pre-orders they also have reliable volumes of stock, and usually arrive well packed on the day of release. Also a no quibble return system if there is a problem. You often don't get all these benefits from high street stores. :)

We are between a rock and a hard place on this topic. We have been into the HMV stores and sometimes they are charging several pounds more than the website and whilst we appreciate that they have overheads to build into their price, the service given by their website is first class.

We actually do prefer to shop in the stores as we do with our any shopping but if an item is considerably higher in price, then unfortunately we then turn to the website. Sadly not a cut and dried situation we think.
