Bill Farrell

Post by hpooch » Mon Apr 02, 2012 4:56 am

Bill Farrell was a very good singer with a style similar to Billy Eckstine or Billy Daniels.
He was discovered by Bob Hope and joined Hope on his USO Tours. He also costarred with Doris Day on Bob's Radio shows in 1948-49.
His two minor "hits" were "Circus" and "You've Changed". Please check him out on "You Tube" & you'll be pleasantly surprised!
Let me know what you think of his voice....I'm sure Harry & Lena has some of his records (MGM Label)

We'll check, but I don't think we have any of Bill Farrell's recordings Henry, but we remember the song "You've Changed" very well and how much he sounds like Billy Eckstine. Nice singer. :)
