Just had an email from Sepia Records, among their forthcoming releases is Makin' Whoopee by Al Martino.
I know that will please some of his fans on this forum.

Thanks for that info Karl. I can't seem to find a track listing yet, I would imagine these are recordings from the late 50's/early 60's. It will be on my shopping list anyhow.

John I just had a look on Sepia's site and the track listing is there, all 28 songs!
Amazon state the release is May 7th and it's £5.99, also coming from Sepia are releases from The Platters & Bing Crosby.

Thanks for the heads up on the Al Martino CD Karl.
This contains some of Al's rarer songs that were often more difficult to find.

It's good to get rarer tracks instead of the well known tracks all the time.

I viewed the 28 tracks by Al Martino and I had many of them on 45RPM and a 20th Century Fox LP.
I am looking forward to this newly released CD as the songs I have are not up to CD sound quality.
Also Lena & Harry posted the info on Facebook site-"Fans of Al Martino" site which was helpful.

We do have all the tracks Henry, plus the Fox albums, but we have the CD and are really pleased with it. Sepia records have done a great job with the remastering, and with interesting liner notes too.
The CD can be purchased from Sepia Records now, but will not be released from any other web-site outlets or retailers such as Amazon, Hmv Play .com until May 7th.
