The Black & White Minstrels

I knew I had one of their LP's and I just came across it a few days ago (must burn it to cd).
Anyway I have checked online to see if the three main singers are still with us, Tony Mercer, Dai Francis and John Boulter. Sadly John is the only one alive and Tony was only 50 when he died in 1973.

Their tv shows were wonderful to watch when we were youngsters.

I saw The Black and Minstrels in their show in London in the early sixties. It was a firm's outing from Camberley and it was the first time I met my future Mother and Father-in-law. :) :P
