When I was about 5 years old I had an album by a band called "Dr. Marigold's Prescription Sings The Now Sounds from England". I was gutted when I lost it in our move back to the US from Japan. I was wondering if any of our forum members know of this band. I can only remember a few songs of that lp, "Sweet Cherry Wine " (the Tommy James song) and something called "You've Got To Build Love On A Foundation"? Still trying to find that album since 1970 to no such avail. One of these days it will pop up on Ebay, Gemm or at a record fair.

There are a lot of their songs posted on Youtube, Eman.

Here's one for your cool music-loving Dad "My Old Man's a Groovy Old Man":

Thanks Lindy!! I think this was on that lp but I can't be sure :D As for my Dad, uh....that's to be determined, but like all Dad's I think they are square..ha ha..but I love him and my Mum as you can tell from my picture. Family and Friends is where it's at for me!! Sorry for the jokey mood i'm in today, but I need to unwind from a hellacious day at the salt mines..

I know those mines, Eman. All hail Caesar.
Gotta be back in my mine by 6 a.m.

Dunno why you're apologizing. You're the bees' knees.

I cannot say that I have ever heard of this band--but I would not be surprised if someone on here had more information about it.
