The great man has finally succumbed to cancer. RIP, Andy, and I'm sure the angels will be singing with you in heaven.

Very, very sad to read this, I have been listening to his music for over 20 years, he was always amongst my top favourites. He made a lot of lovely recordings, he never made a bad record, one of the very best. We saw him in 2002 and he was brilliant. Thank you for all those records and memories Andy.
R.I.P.

Sorry, I started another thread for Andy on "entertainment" but he was such a great singer maybe he deserves more than one. R.I.P. Andy.

Although it was expected that Andy could pass away at any time, it is still sad to lose one of the best crooners from that irreplaceable era.
We have so many memories of his regular TV appearances with the Osmonds in the Sixties.
He will be missed by millions of his fans, but we have a treasure of so many wonderful songs that he made his own.
R.I.P. Andy

A wonderful singer, entertainer and overall a lovely human being. Cut with the same cloth as our much loved Matt. My memories of his music stem back to hearing him sing Moon River and Music too watch girls go by from my childhood....showing my age now. I have his greatist hits on my I pod. R.I.P Andy Williams

Oh man, yeah I posted on the other thread, however it's pretty sad. I kinda felt a whole in my stomach when I heard the news and called my folks. They were sad as I remember them playing his records all the time as a child. (Now I'm showing my age also Rob)
