I would have loved to see JJ---and thought that the Palladium would be brilliant, as I could just about get home from there--till I realised it was a Sunday--and my last train leaves Charing Cross at 10.30 on a Sunday !!!! How annoying ! I am keeping my fingers crossed that they may record the Royal Albert Hall concert.

Is he going to do a U.S. leg of the farewell tour? If so maybe I'll ask my folks if they would like to see him. I know they have some of his records.

I think he is just saying farewell to his U.K. friends Eman. He does several shows in the U.S. mostly in New York, Las Vegas, and his local theatre in Palm Desert. I think he will carry on with those while his voice is still so powerful. I'll let you know if he is ever appearing in the San Diego area.

Yes, perish the thought. After all, it does lower the tone somewhat and we do have standards where our era of singers are concerned, although anythings possible after Tony Bennet recorded that great duet "The Lady Is A Tramp" with Lady Gaga.

Hey Marian, ok keep me posted. Maybe if he goes to Las Vegas, that could be a good mini- vacation for my folks. Today my Dad was playing the "With One More Look At You" reel-to-reel tape. I'm hoping one day that the album and "What I Did For Love" will be released on cd. I love Jack's version of "After The Lovin" much better than Englebert

"what I did for love" was one of the first Lps I bought of Jack- along with "Harbour", and another RCA one--was it "You and me" ???

You were a later starter with JJ Marian! I bought my first JJ LP when I was 16 The Romantic Voice Of Jack Jones for 12/6 (MFP label) and I still have it. Until then I had never heard of him, I heard it playing in the store and thought he had a great voice.

There is no album called You & Me, maybe you mean Love Story as that's a line from the song?

Yes, Karl, I was quite late in collecting Jack Jones-I heard someone at work mention his name, because uo until then I had not heard of him.--I just checked out the other Lp--it was called "together".

Eman, maybe your folks might be interested cn a visit to San Francisco to the RRAZZ room to see JJ.
