Jus had an email from Amazon to say Cilla Black's forthcoming cd/dvd is delayed until October.

This has been on pre-release for awhile so I wonder what the problem is?

Philips Records used to nearly always delay Dusty's releases and they sometimes said it was because she was still recording, they still delay her releases from time to time but they can't use that excuse now - perhaps it was never Dusty's fault to start with!

Don't know. I sent them the DVD master a long time ago!

Could be anything from a production delay through to a rights hiccup.

These things are bound to happen when a company changes hands. - New disc manufacturers, distributors etc all of which can throw spanners in the works in the early days.

This is no longer showing on Amazon.

I have it on pre-order and I haven't received an email saying otherwise, time will tell.

I jsut checked the cd on Cilla's website.

Because of Parlophone being taken over the cd is now called The Very Best Of Cilla Black and is now including all her chart hits (the original track list was so much better).

Cilla has had numerous hit albums we really don't need another, I am only buying this for the dvd.

my fave of Cillas is If you ever had A Heart ...her best IMHO
