Michael Boe

Post by Marian » Sun Mar 09, 2014 5:28 pm

If you think the name is familiar, it's because Michael Boe is an older brother of Alfie. He has a beautiful voice, staying with opera unlike his younger brother. He has just released his first album, which I have just bought and enjoyed. :D Entitled 'A La Voix' at www.northstaropera.co.uk

I like Alfie's classical recordings best too Karl. I'm glad you are giving Michael's CD a go. I hope you like it. I think Michael is hoping for followers that like his voice, but Alfie has had a good start on him! :D

He's an excellent singer, wonder where he's beenhiding all these years and why isn't he with a major label?

He has an amazing range but I would not say he was a carbon copy of Alfie which is a good thing.

I wasn't familiar with many of the songs apart from Carmen.

Marian how did you find out about Michael?
