Yes, there was an article in the paper several days ago, calling Tony Hatch the first Simon Cowell.

Yes Tony was critical but fair and honest - as Simon is, they know the business.

i just remember a stern face and never liking many acts just like our Simon
...I will forgive him though as i like some of the songs he wrote ....and thank you for the baby comment

I hope everyone is having a good Easter. Thought you would be interested to know that there is a Tony Hatch tribute concert at the Royal Festival Hall on 5 July, including an on-stage interview with the man himself.
