A touring show at our local theatre called Crooners. Three good male singers. A great little mini Big Band and comedy. The show was based on the demise of the crooners.First plus was before the show and in the interval good taped music including several Matt tracks. The three singers dressed in Edwardian gear with handlebar moustaches and one with a pipe all had good voices .Lots of Sinatra,Dean Martin,Nat King Cole etc plus My Kind Of Girl and As Long As I'm Singing from Matt. It was the slapstick comedy routines in between songs that we didn't quite understand.A packed audience who knew what the show was all about were howling with laughter.Us not quite ,although we did laugh at some of it.
Would we go again, maybe,Look them up and see what we mean .

Seems strange to dress up in Edwardian outfits, the slapstick would not be my cup of tea either.
I know Edward Woodward recorded an excellent album called Edwardian Woodward but it included older songs.
