BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT /11th APRIL / SUSAN BOYLE

Post by Clint » Thu Apr 23, 2009 1:37 pm

 What did you think about Britain's Got Talent on the 11th of April? I think the nation was surprised with Susan Boyle's performance, I know I was, and the panel was too, Simon Cowell did not know what to say, and Piers Morgan was gobsmacked (THAT SAYS SOMETHING) he wanted to take her out for a meal and give her the first kiss in her life, but Pierse someone has beaten you to it.

This subject was covered quite extensively in the Lounge area---i think we all agreed that we were astounded by Susan's voice. Let's hope it brings her some happiness.

Sorry if you thought that I was criticising where your postings were---that was not my intention-I just wanted to point out that there had been a discussion on that subject elsewhere.

Here is a clip of Susan Boyle from 1995-Michael Barrymore Show.

As usual he is clowning around, while she is singing. I bet he is regretting that now!!!!

Thanks Robert-that was lovely. I also enjoyed Susan singing "Cry me a river"--a crying shame that this talented lady has been hidden from us for so long !!

I think I read that she will sing "Whistle down the wind" in the semifinal of BGT, and "I dreamed a dream", in the final, surely the most appropriate title for Susan--I bet she thinks she is still in Dreamland even now.

I cannot see how she will fail to win.

I was very impressed with Susan's voice as everyone else was on hearing her on BGT, but before I made up my mind I just wanted to hear her sing something else other than "I Dreamed a Dream " and after hearing her sing "Cry Me A River" and "Killing Me Softly" I'm more convinced than ever that she will win. :)
The Two young Children are talented, but kids voices can change.
