Hi Mark, Gary Williams was Eric Hall's guest on his programme on Sunday. We can only feel truly grateful and give praise to singers like Gary and Gary Grace, who keep the good music swinging.
Gary Williams was guest singer at the Sinatra Convention a few years ago, not just a good singer, a nice friendly personality too.

Hello Mark, Lena and Harry. I listened to the Eric Hall show on listen again. It was a good show to listen to, even though Eric had a bit of a throat. Gary Williams comes from Grimsby, but started his singing career in Hull. He said he sang Matt songs when he when starting out singing, along with other artist's songs.
I am now listening to John's Journey Back In Time on the- listen again -feature on Radio Essex. He's just asked a question, who is this singing. An easy one "Jack Warner" from Dixon of Dock Green.
My tears will fall now that your gone

Hi Mark--thanks for information re Gary Williams---the Great American Songbook is one of my favourite kinds of music. I managed to track the song-list at CD Universe, where they also had samples of each track--I really liked what I heard, so I am just about to order it through Amazon.
By the way---who is Alec Wilder? I thought I knew most of the popular songwriters, but I have never heard of him--has he written any well-known songs?
