Just wanted to congratulate LES MISERABLES and all the various casts over the years on becoming the longest running musical - ever!
I love the old American musicals like Carousel, Oklahoma and Seven Brides etc. but for a stage musical that has absolutely everything, I think Les Mis tops the lot.
I know it's not a favourite artist, but didn't know quite where to slot in a favourite musical, but it has starred some of my favourites like DAVE WILLETTS and MICHAEL BALL during its many years in the West End, and indeed all across the world.

Marian, Michael Ball was on Breakfast Time TV this morning showing clips and talking about the long running Les Miserables musical.
The other reason was a CD that he has due for release on 30th of October, " ONE VOICE "
He will be guesting at a Petula Clark concert at London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane on November 26th. The concert will be recorded for broadcast on BBC Radio on December 15th.

Hi Lena and Harry,
I did see Michael Ball on Breakfast this morning, but didn't get all the information. Thanks very much!

Love 'Les Mis' saw it in the begining in London (I think in 1988) - have since seen the show in Dutch and collected many versions on CD in French, German, Spanish, Dutch as well as a couple of English versions.
Also have the DVD which is fantastic.
