Hi Gary--Dickie Valentine has been mentioned several times on this forum, on various postings. We all know he was very popular in his time.
I have 2 of his songs that are particular favourites of mine, that I often listen to "Walking my baby back home"--and perhaps not so well known--"No such Luck".

Yes Gary, Dickie Valentine was very popular in the 50's, and as Marian has mentioned his name has cropped up on numerous occasions on this forum.

Gary, Dickie Valentine was actually mentioned today on Eric Hall's programme. Eric was talking about Dickie's song, The Finger Of Suspicion.
Ok, he played Mike Read's version today, but Dickie gets played quite frequently. His records also often gets aired on Dewi Griffiths prog on BBC Radio Wales on a Sunday morning.
And on GMMY Web-site Dickies music, with all the finest crooners are played regularly. :) :)
