Friends have alerted me that although Barbra warmed up as the concert progressed, her voice cracked 3 times that evening. Regarding her hit The Way We Were, they reported that she now has trouble hitting the high notes and instead improvise around them so that she need not hit them ala Dionne Warwick.

Shame when this happens, like it does to many of these singers, but it seems that everyone notices and hears these cracks, but the singers themselves.
It's like booze, drugs, micotine, they simply can't stop and end up performing robotic.

Not the case with Barbra-even on an'off'day,she's terrific!

I'll have to get the Blu-Ray to hear for myself.
My friends diss Streisand all the time so they may not be fair.
