Weather permitting, I will try and catch this. Love her husky and almost breathless way of singing the standards.

We taped it as we watched it , which was just as well because I dosed off ( not intentionally I have to say) as she was singing "Cry Me A River" and she was still singing "Cry Me A River" when I woke up.  half an hour later.

Cry Me A River is the song always associated with the attractive Julie London Gray, she made some other good recordings too. :)

I think it is a shame that most people only know Julie London from "Cry me a river" [one oif my least favourite songs ever] She actually made so many other great recordings.

Her best is The Thrill Is Gone. I also love You'd Be So Nice To Come Home To. Actually I've never heard her sing a bad note or a bad song.
