Diane Reeves - Good Night and good Luck

I would recommed the soundtrack album from the above film which came out a couple of years ago. It features easy listening songs performed by acclaimed jazz singer Diane Reeves (in the film she is shown singing some of them in a smoky night club), but she sings them in a more easy listening style rather than an overtly jazz one. Well worth the purchase.

Any CD by the sublime Dianne Reeves is worth listening to. She is a worthy successor to Sarah Vaughan, her idol.

Terence

She does indeed model herself on Sarah Vaughan, who I also like to some extent. These things usually have a connection.
