Hi all,
I'm not sure if you have heard any of Dominic's music before.
He is a VERY good Irish singer and has just released a brilliant new CD called "A little bit more". This is a lovely selection of songs from the 1970's and all the songs that Dominic performs are his favourite ones from that era. Lovely versions of "A little bit more, Three times a lady, Some girls, Love grows where my Rosemary goes" plus many more.
If you want to sample any of the songs then please go to Dominic's website-
www.dominickirwan.com you won't be disappointed believe me!
Dominic has been singing for many years and does have quite a large fan base. He has not had the recognition that his music deserves - maybe this new CD will change things for him - let's hope so!
Thanks for all your good wishes everyone - it is nice to be back again!

Hi Hilary--I agree with you completely-I have lots of Dominic's cd's and dvd's--he is just great--I had not heard about the new cd, so I will have to get along and order it. I cannot understand why he is not more well-known, I have to say.

Hi Hilary, good to see you posting again. Don't think we have any of Dominic's music, but we are always happy to support good singers who deserve support. We'll listen in, he sings some nice numbers

Hi Lena, Harry and Marian,
According to Dominic's website, the CD has been TV advertised in Scotland and now everything has gone crazy and the shops are having to order more supplies!

If the CD was TV advertised here in England then who knows what could happen!
Dominic has his own record label now and I guess the money doesn't really go that far at the moment. Now, if only Radio 2 would play the CD and put "Some girls" or "Three times a lady " on their playlist, then maybe things could take off for him here!

I was out today, and saw this cd in HMV-but I had already ordered from Amazon. Good to see he has his own website now.

Hi Hilary. we missed Eric on Sunday. Last week his slot was changed to the Saturday instead, but we'll be listening in this coming Sunday
We know and recognise all the songs on Dominic's latest CD. and must say we really like it. He's a good singer. Thanks to Mariana who kindly gave us a copy, but didn't really know or connect the singer.

Two or Three of the numbers were also well known recordings by Glen Cambell

Hi Lena and Harry,
I'm glad you are enjoying Dominic's new CD.
The CD was number 1 in the HMV easy listening chart but now is sitting at number 3. Michael Buble is at number 1 this week.

Hi Hilary, Dominic wasn't on Eric Hall's show today. Maybe on some later date.

Hi Lena and Harry,
Maybe Dominic's website got the date wrong.
He could be on next week with any luck.
