HELP!

Hi guys,

I'm going to be cheeky here, but I need your help. A choir that I work with as an arranger / producer / engineer (Bispham High School Gospel Choir) has reached the final ten in a BBC 6 music competeition but we're lagging behind.

Thay are the only High School left in the competition (and suffering from the AHH factor - I think people are listening and saying "aaaaaahhhhh! it's little children from a primary school!). The prize is two weeks airplay on BBC 6. Now the music sung is probably not your cup of tea but we really need your assistance. So if you can please go to this link

http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/shows/natas ... oral.shtml

and vote for BISPHAM HIGH SCHOOL GOSPEL CHOIR only! it would be of great assistance.

Ask everyone you know too! we have until 7.00am UK time saturday

If you want to know anything more about the choir please see here:-

Thanks

Richard Moore

I too have voted for your choir Richard, but at the moment they only have 5% of the votes, whereas Cross Lane School, Leeds have 27%

I just voted. I also thought they were great singing Crazy, my fifth favourite song of 2006. Especially impressive was the girl who sang the obligato. I will check out their website later. Perhaps they will have CDs.

I listened to a few other choirs. I was expecting great things for Wonderwall, but was disappointed. I don't think a childrens choir should sing America.

The choir tradition that you have is just wonderful.

Thanks for all your support guys! It looks like it was all in vain!

Odd voting going on - One school had 0% of the vote yesterday and then started this morning with 16% - Bizzare!

Oh well - By the way Paul - the singer at the end is Lois who is brilliant, a major talent who has the ability to go all the way to the top if given the chance!

Thanks again all

Richard

Thanks Richard for the information on Lois. I could tell she had a natural talent. I like how she didn't just copy Cee Lo Green but added her own spin to this great song.

Would it be possible for you to bring a CD of the choir to Fans Reunited II (if they have CDs and if you plan to attend)? I'd love to hear a full set of their songs.

There's definately some crazy voting going on somehow, can't believe how much the votes are going up and down.
I voted a day or so ago after some info from Michele, and also passed the link on to a dozen or so friends who also voted, but the vote has gone down not up. I listened to all the choirs and yours was the best in my opinion anyway Richard. Good luck for the final count tomorrow.
Marian
