Welcome back to the forum Francesca, but if you had scrolled down a little, you would have noticed a Frankie Laine "section"

Oh goodness me, oopsie! I am sure had I been a bit more together I could have paid closer attention. ...... it's been a trying day..........

I am mourning the demise of my very lovely pink toaster. It was only with me a few weeks (after the last one blew up) Alas the pink toaster melted on the electric hob where it was sitting temporarily......... Things got ugly, there were toxic fumes and a pool of melted plastic, and now my heart is broken.

Oh well........ at least It *self cremated*. :(

Oh and thanks for the w/b........ been off hurling out of aircraft here and there. It's a dirty thankless task, but someone has to do it.

Ok, back to Frankie! :D

Hi Francesca, nice to see you posting and it doesn't matter too much where you mention Frankie Laine, it's just that our Robert is our forum guide and likes to keep things ship shape and Bristol fashion.  So you are mourning Frankie Laine and a toaster then.
  They've got some nice pink toasters in Argos. Even a pink kettle and pink mugs to match.
As for hurtling out of Aircraft, You can take our turn for that Francesca.

Oh dear, I can see I shall have to tether my scatiness with Robert around then eh!

Yes I was a bit dratted sad about Mr Laine. :(

I have this jump to do into Hyde park in a couple of weeks you see for the Red Cross and I swear all this training and wafting about in the clouds has made me quite doolally lately. Must be the lack of oxygen

I only had that toaster a few weeks you know. Half price it was, and pink! I have seen a nice one in Argos though, will go nicely with the pink kettle.

WEll hey ho, hope you are all well,

I hope I don't get too much of a chastising from Robert, but thought I would slip in a pic of my sadly departed toaster. It was only on a medium heat for 20 mins!
