Jim retired on health grounds about 16 months ago and wanted to come up for a visit, he has never been right since and has been in and out of hospital having chemo and responding well.
He now has tumours on his spine which has prevented him from walking so he's been given an electric wheelchair, this means he cannot go upstairs in his house so a bed and commode has been arrranged in the living room. He is just out of hospital again after a three week stay, I told him if he really wants to go the nurses Christmas party there are easier ways!!!

Jim's niece and her husband were some of the people I visited on my recent trip to Australia.
Throughout all this Jim has behaved with courage and dignity and is trying his best to keep cheerful, infact I could have cried when I put down the phone.
He is having physio to try and get mobile again and there is feeling so I hope very soon he can walk again.
So folks please, remember Jim in your prayers - thank you.
