Hope it all works out for all of them. Thanks for the news about Jodie John.
A friend of mine was very worried about her dog, as one day he got out his bed and went round the room clockwise following the walls, and he was only able to walk in circles for quite some time, but eventually this righted itself, and I'm pleased to say he is alright now.

Yes, she has got cataracts Marian. She is fine when outside, just in the lounge she sometimes has problems. Went to pick the tablets up today, a months supply, yet the vet wants to see her in 2 weeks to make sure the tablets are working o.k for her, wouldn't you have thought they would have prescribed a fortnights tablets first rather than a month. What if the vet decides they aren't right for her?
Hope Robson and Ruby will be o.k.

She has been a lot better today, I let her out while I was hoovering this morning, I heard her come back in the kitchen, and looked round and saw her at the lounge door, then looked round again and she was gone, she had gone back out on her own, and she did this several times, so I just left the door open for her to come and go like she always used to.

Excellent news John--I can imagine how relieved you are.

Robson is a little better, but it does not look good for Ruby-the vets have given her 6 months-maybe a year. they could tell more if they could do a more invasive biopsy, but as it would serve no real purpose, they decided against it. At the moment she is bright and lively and still loving her walks out, with big brother Max, so that is good.

That is sad about Ruby Marian. At least she is happy at the moment.

I am sorry to say that we lost Jodie this morning. She has lived another 6 months from her stroke.
She was fine this morning, she had been in and out this morning, and had come in the front garden while we were talking to our neighbours. She came back in and lay down, then a few minutes later she had a heart attack. We rushed her to the vets, and the vet put her to sleep.
I have had her for 16 years, and can't believe she is gone. I know out other dog Barnie knows something is wrong. He will miss her as well.
I know she will be with my Mum and Dad now, my Dad used to take her out for a walk while he could get around, and she used to love my Mum, she always knew when she came in the front door, she always made a great fuss of her.

That's sad John and yes your other dog will know there is something wrong.

Yes dogs always give you a wonderful welcome, Amber did when we used to look after my sister & bro-in-law's dog.

John, I am so sorry to hear about Jodie---you have to have or had a pet to know how awful it feels when they go. I cannot bear the thought that one day, I will lose Chloe and Harry, but I know it will happen.
~~thinking of you and Lee and little Barnie.
