Update on my parents car

Good news!! The police called my parents as they have located their car. I don't know what the state of it is, but according to my Mum, my Dad and my older brother went to go claim it. Last I heard from my brother was that the car seemed ok, but the insurance company will take the car for inspection and will fix any damages before returning it to them. I'm too happy to work and I'm glad the car was found.

Yes Karl and Marian, we are. My Dad is taking it to the shop tomorrow to have it thoroughly checked out and have an alarm installed. So far it looks ok, but you never know..we are just pleased it's back, honest to say I almost cried to see it back in the driveway as it was the first car that I really drove after learning to drive. I know I'm a lush for wanting to cry out of happiness. LOL

Thanks all, yep all of us are relieved, but Dad is going to have the car check out thoroughly today and have an alarm installed. Shame that he has to do that, but I guess it's necessary. I just hope the other two cars that were taken in the same week but on different days are found also.

hi all thank you very much. Dad had the car thoroughly inspected yesterday and it was in good running order, no damage. He also had an alarm installed and he also had the inside of the car cleaned. He said who knows who took it and he didn't want my Mum to be driving in something that some low-life took.

I think I'd feel the same, you never know what they've been up to, it's a violation.
