Before I gave up in 1980 I smoked good ole Benson and Hedges, but remember during the war how Camel cigarettes seemed to be a rare treat for some. Don't know why though, and though I've never smelt Camels dung, the smell from these fags could have been a clue.

Hi everybody I smoked and gave up in 1981 after 3 years ...Marlboro smelled like old socks lol ...and tasted like them probably ..best thing I ever did was chuck it all in ....rats poison and arsenic are included in cigarettes .....I told some ex colleagues this and they gave up or switched to the new electric things

This could be a good idea for the Bakers Dozen game, 13 different cigarettes............I also remember Park Drive and later on Silk Cut ........

Marian life is too short to be miserable, think happy thoughts. They say a smile is a frown turned upside down so turn your frowns around, do something outrageous and to hell with what anyone thinks.
Being down just makes you unhappy so please, start afresh and don't let anyone bother you.
You go girl!

Hi everyone. just to let you know I am still around, but still not feeling good. I have been referred to a counsellor, and I should have had my first [telephone] assessment last Thursday, but I went to the Health Centre, but I should have stayed at home and waited for the call there. I was quite distraught when I realised. However they rescheduled me, and I now have my telephone assessment tomorrow afternoon. So Hope it will not be too long before I actually get to talk to a counsellor.
Hope everyone here is ok, and hope I will be back here regularly soon.
