Hello to Everyone

Post by Angela51 » Tue Sep 29, 2015 11:04 pm

:D :D
Sorry I have been missing on the Forum for a while, but I do read Michele's monthly news.
Rather busy here with problems etc., and my Son has, at long last, had his kidney transplant after waiting on the list for years.
As a breather for myself, I am going on the 'Britannia' cruising 9th Oct-23rd Oct. can't wait , so out come the suitcases and ready to be packed.
Best Wishes to Everyone. :P

Just back from my own trip so I hope everything is going well for you and your son Angela, often thought of a cruise so tell us how you enjoyed it when you get back. What places are you visiting?

Hello everyone, and Thank you for your Good wishes re my son's transplant, he is now back in his home in the Orkneys.
I am back from the Cruise on Britannia, and I certainly would not like to recommend this ship !!!
The ship is not very well designed, it's too big, with very few SMALL lifts, which were often out-of-order, and electricity cuts on 2 days. So sad for tourists in wheel-chairs, they had too long to wait.
The food was often cold. The weather was only sunny on two of the days, and on Deck 12 waded through the water to reach the Restaurant, there was NO roof cover, Must admit, the Cabin and the shower were fine. If, and when I am ready for another Cruise, I will choose the ships that I have previously used. So many of other tourists did complain.
I did meet some lovely people.
Best wishes...Angela
