Lockdown

Post by maureen & harry » Thu Apr 23, 2020 7:33 pm

We hope all members past and present are coping during the lockdown and we would also like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all NHS staff for their unselfish dedication and all other people who are giving a service to help us get through these difficult times.

Yes, they are doing a wonderful job, it's tragic so many of them have caught the virus and passed away for just doing their jobs :( :(

Great news that this virus has peaked and on a downward trend, let's hope it continues to fall rapidly and the world gets back to normal eventually. I feel happier already!

It's peaked because of social distancing so it cannot spread ……...but when people start mingling again it might come back again the bas...d !!!!

I've read several times this virus does not like heat so let's hope Summer kicks it in the teeth! Also I am glad people
abided by the rules, we stay home to survive if it keeps us safe I am happy to do so as this is one way I don't want
to go. However when it's safe I think I will stay out all damn day LOL.

So sad to live to that age and have your life ended by this horrible virus, rest in peace.

Yes Karl, especially when Sir Tom raised about £33 million for the NHS to fight the dreaded virus which eventually took him :(

So great to get out with the travel restrictions lifted, drove over to Dunfermline to see some of the family.

What a treat Karl. My sister took me for lunch at a garden centre outside overlooking a lake and it was the best feeling ever . Let us hope May and then June means we can be even more free.
