Lena I hope we both have a lot of years left, I have a milestone birthday in August and as Cilla used to say I'm Too Young To Be That Old - celebrating in style with a trip of a lifetime.

Karl - May 24th which is apparently Empire Day- Queen Victoria's birthday. When she was at school they all had a day off to celebrate it.
No one seems to have heard of it today.

Where is your trip of a lifetime Karl?

Sailing one way to New York on QM2, spending a few nights in a lovely hotel before flying on to visit relatives in Ohio, one cousin is
also celebrating the same birthday as me the day before I get there - no doubt we will have a double celebration with the family.

Lena & Harry Smith wrote:Sandra, your mum couldn't have chosen better. "Moonlight Serenade" is a classic and "Dream" is a typical Sinatra.
I chose Sinatra's "I'll See You Again." for a friend 's funeral. I will probably have that for mine.

Yes I apologise also Lena for straying. I have just listened to the words of I'll See You Again and it is a beautiful song xxx
